The Washington Post has an archive of obituaries from famous
individuals.

These obituaries could serve as excellent resources for research.
You might ask students to consider the following questions:

1. Who was the person?

2. What kind of a contribution did this person make to the world?

3. If you could have asked this person one thing, what would
you have asked him/her?  Why?

4. If this person was to come back to life today, what do you
think he/she would say about the headlines from this morning's
newspaper?  Why do you think this?

5. Why should anybody care what this person things?
