Getting to Know You Game!!






Copy the following statements onto a word processor.  Distribute a copy to each student.

Tell students that they will have eight minutes to find students in the class to sign each of
the statements below.  Obviously, the statement should be accurate for those who sign it.  
To make the game a bit more difficult tell students that each student can only sign their
page one time.  

After students have completed this activity, tell them that each sentence is worth ten
points.  If this is a math class, you might assign different point values to each sentence.  
Students should calculate their scores.  

You might consider collecting these sheets in an effort to learn more about your students.

My favorite school subject is math. ________________________________

There are four children in my family. _____________________________

This summer I went swimming more than four times. ________________________

I traveled by plane this past summer. ____________________________
