Dr Scott McLeod at Dangerously Irrelevant was tracking ed blog popularity at one time. You might check with him.

Chris Sessums' blog has got to be up there.

Then try technorati. I'm not sure if you'll find exactly what you're after there, but they do have tags, and list blogs by popularity.

I blog on a teacher blogsite called teacherlingo.com. It is a fairly new community that now has about 350 members. It allows all blogs to show on the home page or recent blog page.

Notice an unusual approach out of Kentucky....

Kentucky School News and Commentary (http://theprincipal.blogspot.com) aggregates news, does some original research and reporting, state edu politics, and contains commentary - focused on KY, with some national stuff. Lot's of content.
